Moldover is an American artist, musician and inventor of musical instruments. He is well known for coining the term controllerism and supporting its adoption with a diverse body of work including live performances, eclectic compositions, educational videos, and pioneering designs for new instruments. Moldover has performed at international music festivals - among them Sonar, Mutek, and Coachella - and is a frequent guest speaker at schools including NYU, Stanford, and MIT. His company HappenCraft designs uncommon experiences at the intersection of new technology and creative play for established artists, brands, and exhibitions. Some notable clients are DJ Shadow, Virtual Riot, The Moog Foundation, Lego, The GRAMMY Museum, and Meow Wolf.
